Merry Christmas..πŸ’πŸŽ‚β˜ΊοΈ

Hi everyone!! How are you all doing? I am great and it’s december 25th today, so wishing you all a happy and Merry Christmas..☺️. So it’s a holiday for me today and I could sleep for some more time today. After wishing my friends, I worked out on cooking gravy chicken with rice..,πŸ‘Œβ˜ΊοΈ. Let me share the recipe with you.

Ingredients:

Chicken pieces- 1/2 kg

Edible Oil – 2 table spoons

Dried chilly powder – 3 tablespoons

Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon

Masala powder( cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, pepper, coriander seeds)- 2 table spoons

Ginger and garlic paste – 1 table spoon

Onions, green chillies, coriander – 2 cups ( chopped into pieces)

Salt and water – as required for taste.

Method:

  1. Take a pan and heat it on stove, add oil and then chopped onion and green chillies and fry them until brown.

  2. Next clean the chicken pieces in salt water and add to this pan and cook for 5 minutes closing the lid.

  3. Then add masala powder, chilly powder ,turmeric and ginger garlic paste and mix well. Allow it to simmer in medium flame for 10min minutes. Later on add coriander leaves and add Little water and salt. After cooking for 5 minutes on high flame, add some more water and cook on low flame for 15minutes. That’s it Gravy chicken is ready!!β˜ΊοΈπŸ‘Œ

  4. Serve it hot with boiled rice and lemon and onion pieces!!!

A special sweet on this Sunday.. πŸ˜πŸ˜‹πŸ˜˜

Hi everyone, how are you all doing? I am perfectly fine and have been quite busy for the last few weeks. But now I found time on this Sunday to share with you the recipe of a special sweet ” Chakkara Pongali” as we call in our mother tougue. It’s also served as Prasadam at various temples across India. We’ll, let me get into the topic.. 😊

The Ingredients :

Rice – 2 cups

Moongdal – 1 cup

Water – 4 cups

Cardamom – 4( grinded powder)

Jaggery – 1/4 kilogram

Coconut – 1/2 cup (grated)

Ghee – 4 table spoons

Preparation Method :

  1. Boil the rice and moong dal after cleaning with a little water.

  2. After the rice and Moongdal is cooked 90%, add the grated jaggery to it.

  3. Next add cardamom powder to it and mix them together.

  4. Fry coconut pieces in ghee and add them along with the ghee into the rice and Moongdal vessel and close the lid.

  5. Allow it to simmer in low flame for 5 minutes.

  6. Cashew and resins can also be fried in the ghee and added. But it is optional.
